Women of the Word

Women of Worship

Women of Works

Women connecting to other Women as we connect to Christ.

There has been a growing desire among the women to connect to one another in the femininity that is the Church.  Make no mistake that while lace and flowers have their places, there are many ways the femininity of the Church appears:

  • Women are fierce warriors for the Kingdom of God as shown by Deborah who was a prophetess, judge, and a warrior; as shown by Jael who was a defender of Israel.

  • Women are discerning protectors of their families as demonstrated by Abigail and her hospitality toward King David who  sought to destroy her husband.

  • Women are brave immigrants to a foreign land as demonstrated by Queen Esther, the Jewish wife of a Persian king who unveiled her heritage in order to save her people.

  • Women are faithful mothers and grandmothers covering their children with prayers so that they may come to the faith as shown by Lois and Esther who raised Timothy, the understudy of Paul who wrote 2/3 of the New Testament.

The women of Cross Connection Church are connecting with one another to learn more about the Bible says to us personally and collectively, to discern our callings, to put our passions to work, and to become a closer group of friends who support, protect, and uplift one another.
